Compatible Brother DR229CL Yellow Drum Unit
This compatible DR229CL yellow drum unit gives your Brother printer a separate replacement for the yellow drum. It comes as a single unit for customers whose other drums do not yet need changing.
What the 20,000-Page Rating Means
The stated yield is up to 20,000 pages for the yellow drum itself. That rating does not describe the TN229-series yellow toner cartridge, which is ordered separately and has its own capacity.
Verify the Supply and Printer
Check the full Brother DCP, HL, or MFC model in the compatible-printer details. Then confirm whether the printer needs a yellow drum or yellow toner. This product provides the drum and contains no toner.
Keep the Other Drums in Service
Use the 1-pack to change only the yellow drum. If the black, cyan, and magenta drums need replacing too, the compatible DR229CL 4-pack includes all four units. It works alongside the toner range appropriate for your particular printer model.
